Obituary of Lou Belleville

With sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces that Louis Belleville of White Lake; formerly of Ottawa passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love and family on Friday evening, May 27, 2022. He was almost 91. Beloved husband and best friend for almost 74 years of Colette (Nee Viau). Dearly loved and respected “Dad” of Sue McDonald (Barry) of Ottawa; Louise Belleville of White Lake; Louis Jr. (Laura Kallio) of Perth; Evelyn Maloney (Bob) of Ottawa; Bill (Valerie Ireland) of Stittsville and Kim Brine (Bernie) of Carleton Place. Predeceased by a daughter, Hélène Guilbeault (Stephen of Ottawa). Cherished and proud “Grandpa” of 15 and “Great-Grandpa” of 28. Louis is also survived by one brother, Victor Belleville (Virginia) of Precott as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Son of the late William and Catherine (nee Crépin) Belleville, Louis was also predeceased by 4 brothers: Mack (late Mamie), Marcel (Pam of Ottawa), Mickey (Pam of Renfrew) and Gaston (late Hilda) as well as his only sister, Gwen Charron (late Peter). Louis loved life. Spending time with family was everything to him. He also enjoyed entertaining at many local venues where he volunteered countless hours playing his beloved accordion to entertain and bring joy to his audiences. He will be missed. Louis’ final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Friday afternoon, June 3rd from 12 to 1:45 and where a service to honour Louis will follow in the Pilon Family Chapel at 2 o’clock.
