Obituary of Lorne McMahon

(Lifelong Lumberman)

 

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Lorne passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital while surrounded by love and prayers on Monday morning, June 13, 2022; Lawrence Patrick “Lorne” McMahon of Braeside was in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Kathy. Dearly loved Dad of Pat (Kim), Brian (Kathie) and Sean and Stepdad of Matt MacMillan (Cindy). Cherished and proud Grandpa of Chris (Alyssa) and Kevin (Tara) and Great-Grandpa of Isla, Aubrey, Eden, Connor, Addison and Decklan. Dear brother of Bea Hunt (late Con). Lovingly remembered brother-in-law of John and Sharron O’Neil, John and Carol Gilmette. Also survived by nieces, nephews and so many friends… both young and old. Forever missed by his faithful companion Guinness. Son of the late John and Susan (nee Kluke) McMahon, Lorne was also predeceased by the mother of his children, Teddy (nee Donahue). Lorne’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Friday morning, June 17th at 10:30. A reception will follow. In memory of Lorne, please consider a donation to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Building Fund, Braeside.
