Obituary of Marg Mooney

With heavy hearts, the Mooney family announces that Margaret Sharron Mooney of Renfrew; formerly of Carp passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Saturday morning, July 30, 2022. She was 73. Beloved and devoted wife of Bill. Loved and cherished Mom of Jo-Anne McGuire (Scott) of Arnprior and Sandra MacIntyre (Tom) of Fitzroy Harbour. Proud G-Ma of Kelsie McGuire (Brady Miller), Brandon, Jaidyn and Alexis McGuire. Dear sister of Lorne Bower (late Maureen), Jim Bower (Jackie), Fred Bower (Kelly) and Betty Peterman (Don). Daughter of the late Lorne and Dorothy (nee Hill) Bower. Marg was also predeceased by 2 brothers, Don Bower (Joanne) and David Bower as well as a sister, Lorna Chapleau (late Ellard). Also survived and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Marg’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, August 3^rd from 6 to 8 p.m. only. A private family Tribute to honour Marg will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday, August 4^th. Inurnment Highland Park Cemetery, Carp at a later date. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the valiant efforts of the Renfrew County Paramedics as well as the dedicated nurses and doctors at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
