It is with profound sadness that the family of Helen Cavanagh announces her unexpected passing at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Beloved daughter of the late Lorne and Rita (nee Marcellus) Dorion. Cherished mother of Deborah Dunham of Calgary and Brian (late Joan, 2021) of Kanata. Much loved nanny of Josh Dunham (Kaity) of Calgary and proud great-grandma of baby Everett. Dear sister of Dick Dorion of Kanata, Lorna Johnson (Ted) of Ottawa and Rosemary Goebel (Keith) of Nepean. Predeceased by her sister Linda Neron (Deryl) of Iroquois and beloved companions, Ed Sidney (Arnprior) and Howard Leckie (Braeside). Helen will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, her caring neighbors and devoted friends. She will be remembered for her strong faith, friendly nature, infectious smile and warm hugs.

Helen’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior followed by interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery.
