Guenter was my first boss as a young pre-teen at his FINA garage and gas stationon Daniel street. I was sure he hired me as a favour to my Dad who trusted only Guenter to work on his prize possession 1962 MGA sports car. He had me cleaning parts and sorting nuts and bolts in between pumping gas for customers. I remember him as a kind, quiet and gentle man who patiently showed me where the gas cap and oil dipstick were found on various cars when I struggled to find them. He once told me he was building his own plane at home and would take me flying some day. I expect he is flying with the angels today.
