Obituary of Lois McKeddie

(Retired – Playtex, Renfrew)

 

With great sadness the McKeddie family announces that Lois passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital while surrounded by loved ones on Friday evening, November 18, 2022; Lois Mary L’Abbé of Sandy Hook was soon to celebrate her 87th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Donald “Don” McKeddie (December 27, 1996). Much loved and proud Mom of Russ (Debbie) of White Lake; Randy (Karen) of Arnprior, Linda Burnette (Frank) and Lori Dontigny (Rob), all of Sandy Hook. Predeceased by a son, Donnie and a granddaughter, Sara McKeddie. Forever loved and cherished “Nanny” of 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Raymond L’Abbé (Gracie) and Lloyd L’Abbé (Linda), both of Arnprior and Ellen Hill (late George “Judd”) of Renfrew. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends whom she cherished. Daughter of the late Raymond and Mona (nee Hogan) L’Abbé. Lois was also predeceased by her brothers: Douglas and Eddie (late Cécile) as well as sisters: Darlene Trudeau (late Jack) and Phyllis Hall (late Bill).

 

Lois’ final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Monday, November 21st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday, November 22nd from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock followed by interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Sandy Hook. Luncheon will then take place at the Pilon Family Reception Centre.
