Obituary of John Carty

(Retired Butcher)

At The Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Sunday morning, November 21, 2022; John Eldon Carty of Arnprior passed away at the age of 74 years. Much loved Dad of Tanya Sutton (Dave) of Burlington. Loved grandfather of Brittnay and Blake and great-grandfather of Lucas. Dear brother of Ray (Bettyann), Donnie (Nancy), Gary (Karen), Bob (Linda), Wayne, Charlie (Nancy), late Doug, Beth Manson (Ron) and Karen Carty. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Eldon and Charlotte (nee Smith) Carty. John enjoyed life. He loved playing golf but was also very passionate about cooking and baking. He was very proud of his long standing career as a butcher with Loeb’s. Gone but not forgotten.

John’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

Interment will take place in the Carty family plot at Capital Memorial Gardens in Nepean.
