Obituary of Gail Donohue

(nee Russell; formerly Gibson)

With broken hearts the family announces that Gail passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home in Waba on Friday, November 18, 2022; Gail Mary Donohue was only 64. Beloved wife and best friend of Bill Donohue. Much loved mother of Matthew Gibson of Edmonton and Nicholas Gibson of Kenora. Dearest sister of Lorraine MacDonald (late Ewen) of Cornwall; Joanne Boyer (late Jack) of Gatineau; Claire Rines of Arnprior; Earl Russell (Lorraine) of Markstay, ON; Barbara Allinotte (Allan) of Vars; Theresa Pilon (late Roger) of Arnprior; Kenneth Russell (Bonnie) of Apple Hill; Marlene Rockburn (Kirk) of Renfrew and Rosalie Dale (Rick) of Orleans. Predeceased by a brother, Donald “Sonny” Russell (Liette of Maxville). Sister-in-law of Gail Donohue (late Gerry) of Carp and Kathy Cuff (Ken Fraser) of Braeside. Also survived and lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and great friends. Daughter of the late Stephen and Bertha (nee Renaud) Russell formerly of Martintown. A brilliant shining light has gone out far too soon. She will be missed.

Gail’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

Friends are invited to join the family for a service to honour Gail to be held in the Pilon Family Chapel on Friday morning, November 25th at 11 o'clock. 

A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow in the Pilon Family Reception Centre.
