Obituary of Bill Verch

With great sadness the family announces that Bill passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 1, 2023 following a brief illness. He was 76.  Proud son of the late Frank and Emily (nee Sewter) Verch.   Beloved husband of Mourien (nee Rychtar). Dearly loved father of Lisa Verch-Raskin (Brian) of Kanata and Shelly Mosseau (Mike) of McNab/Braeside. Loved grandpa of Casey, Cori, Sebastian and Callie. Lovingly survived by his brother, Robert (Bonnie) Verch as well as niece, Kim Davidson (Allan) and his nephew, Greg Verch (Kim). Fondly remembered by his sister-in-laws Elizabeth Rychtar, Christine Rychtar, Wendy (Udo) Saziew (and family), and brother-in-law Billy Rychtar. 

He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.   He was extremely appreciative of the time family and friends made to visit and share in conversation, right up to, and including his hospital stay.

Bill’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private family graveside service took place at the Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior later in the Spring.
