January 2, 1946 – January 3, 2023

With heaviest of hearts the family announces that Louise passed away quietly and peacefully in her sleep at The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior with her beloved husband Terry by her side in the early hours of Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was  77 years and one day old. Beloved wife and best friend of Terry for over 55 years. Dearly loved mother of Ron (Barbara) of Timmins and Jason (Erin) of Braeside. Cherished and proud Nanny of Adam, Carter, Ethan and Emma. Dearest sister of Art (Connie), Marion (Zig), Caroline (Bill), Ed, Kathy (Dave), Pat, George, Beatrice and Bernie (Derek). Predeceased by 3 brothers: Rudy, Mike and Rick. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Louise was born in Cobalt, Ontario to the late Dutch and Beatrice Villeneuve. She was blessed to be born into a large family. She spent much of her life in Northern Ontario however retirement brought her and Terry to Arnprior. They spent many wonderful years being part of this great community that they called home. Family was everything. Louise and Terry cherished every opportunity to spend time with their boys and their families. She will be missed. The family wish to express immeasurable gratitude to the nurses and all staff at The Grove in Arnprior who always went out of their way to provide amazing care to Louise and her family. These acts of kindness will never be forgotten.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Friday evening, January 6th from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday afternoon, January 7th from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. and where a Service to honour and remember Louise took place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 3 o’clock.
