Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Amos

May 2, 1940 – January 12, 2023

With sadness the family announces that Betty passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Thursday evening, January 12, 2023. She was 82. Predeceased by her husband Gordon “Boots” Amos (2016).

Loved Mom of Tim Burnette (Valerie Parsons) of White Lake, Jeff Burnette (Heather Needham) of Arnprior and Shelly Reid (Tom) of Stewartville. Special Grandma of Tegan and Cooper Burnette, Randi, Thomas and Daniel Reid.

Dear sister of Penny Curnock (Bill) of White Lake and Wendy Vandusen of Almonte.Predeceased by her siblings: Donald (late Mary), Robert (Velma), Nancy Tessier (late Donald) and Terry (Carleen). Fondly remembered by the Amos family. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A graveside service took place on Tuesday morning, May 2^nd at 10 o’clock at the Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior.
