I met Joe when I was running the marina in town. He was an avid boater and loved being on and around the water. Working in defence myself, once I learned of his tenure with the CF, we shared many interesting stories together and I always stopped to say hello and chat with him ever since we met. I will miss him. Gone far too soon. RIP my friend.
