With heavy hearts, the family announces that their matriarch passed away at Hospice Renfrew on Monday afternoon, January 23, 2023.

Beloved life partner of Dr. Len Levine. Dearly loved mother of Martina Matassa. Cherished and proud Mama Iggy of Jasmine Matassa (Jeff Peto) and Janessa Matassa (Don Escoto). Proud and adoring Grandma of Remi, Axel and River.

Dear sister of Peter Spinzig and Anne Bondar. Aunt of Barbara and Jurg. Also survived by her first husband, Dieter Gerszke.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice Renfrew for the genuine love, care and attention shown to Ingrid in the final week of her life. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
