I didn't know Eddie well, I only delivered meals to his home on occasion and stuck around to chat for a few minutes each time. The man I met was a kind hearted person who always had a big bright smile on his face and who liked to show off his dance moves. I've never seen someone in their 100s bust a move like that! I will miss seeing his face and joking around with him.
Eddie was the personification of "a life well lived" ! I never had the pleasure of knowing Eddie, but I thought it was a great story when Mayor Stack was lifted in a bucket truck during COVID to present Eddie with 100th Birthday wishes. After reading his story.....all I can say is "what a guy"......his family and the whole community of Arnprior were lucky to have him ! Our world needs more "Eddie Levesque's" !

My condolences to the extended Levesque family on the loss of Eddie. Unfortunately I won’t be able to extend my condolences in person. Last time I saw Eddie we shared a coffee and a chat at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital where I was working and where Lois was a patient at the time. To a life well lived.

I use to babysit for the three youngest boys when their parents went to the Arnprior Legion for the Friday night dances.
They really didn’t need a babysitter but they got their parents to get me so I would play board games with them!

Mary Lou and the entire Levesque family, Bernice and I would like to send our most sincere condolences to you on the passing of Eddie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Bernice was raised on Tierney St. and has a lot of great memories from times shared with the Levesque family. Eddie was an example of a life well lived.
Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the wake/funeral as we are in Florida at this time.

To the entire Levesque family, sending heartfelt condolences to you all at this very difficult time. When I heard of Eddie's passing a flood of memories came back to me. I can recall on more than one occasion when Eddie and Lois were next door visiting Val and Ken and Eddie would come over to visit Robin and I and the kids to say hello. Not five minutes after exchanging pleasantries Eddie would be on the floor playing with our son Brett and daughter Jamie. He always made time to make them laugh, Lois would come in afterwards and say "I figured that's what you were up to and laugh". Always a kind heart and gentle spirit our kids fondly referred to Eddie as "Grandpa Eddie" and still do to this day. He was an inspiration to us all and those of us who were lucky enough to cross paths and enjoy spending time with Eddie are richer for it. He will be missed.

Also, of the Valley Trio performing on the Arnprior TV station. Had to watch every week so our little girl could dance to their songs.

My condolences to all the Levesque family. I knew Eddie for more than 10 years, as a friend and neighbour with him and MaryLou. Knowing them has been a great blessing for me. I shared many a fun time and/or conversation, especially with Eddie who always made me laugh. I also loved reading the beautiful obituary; it gave me more insight into the wonderful life Eddie lived…what an amazing, kind and generous man! He will be sorely missed and I am thankful and privileged that I had the chance to know him! Rest In Peace with the angels, Eddie….you will be forever missed!
