Obituary of Vivian "Auntie" Lacroix

“Auntie”

With broken hearts, Robert and the boys announce that Vivian passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, February 28, 2023; Carole Vivian Lacroix of Arnprior was 81 years of age. Beloved wife for over 58 years of Robert. Dearly loved mother of Darryl (Girlane) of Arnprior and Donald (Jeanette Adame) of Ottawa. Cherished and proud Grandma of Jaydon Lee. Loved sister of Phill Whyte (Helen) and Kathy Kilby (Frank), both of Arnprior and the late Lynn Robertson (Duncan of Arnprior). Special sister-in-law of Pauline Lemenchick (Terry), Susan Love, Raymond Lacroix (Linda McLean) and Roy Lacroix. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Vivian was known to most as Auntie.

A loving wife and doting mother, she became “Auntie” to dozens of children who were blessed to have her as their babysitter while growing up. Generous, kind and giving of herself are but a few words that best describe Vivian. She will be missed by many.

Her final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior

where visitation was held on Sunday afternoon, March 5^th from 2 to 3:45 p.m.

A Service to honour and remember Vivian followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 4 o’clock.

Interment White Lake Cemetery.
