Obituary of Marion Shrimpton

(nee Showers)

With sadness the family announces that Marion passed away peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Thursday evening, March 2, 2023, a few weeks shy of her 80^th birthday.

Cherished wife and best friend of Barry of Arnprior. Loved Mother of Kevin Shrimpton of Smiths Falls, Kellie Shrimpton (Phil Gagnon) of Fitzroy Harbour and Steve Shrimpton (Anne Pritchard) also of Smiths Falls. Treasured Grandma of Christopher Shrimpton, Cassy Shrimpton, Thomas Gagnon, Jacob Gagnon and Mathieu Gagnon. Predeceased by her sister, Carol Showers. Daughter of the late Carlos and Myrtle (nee Rouse) Showers.

Special thank you to the staff at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, the Bonnechere Manor and the Courtyards on Eagleson Retirement Home for all their excellent care and compassion.

Marion’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

A Celebrations of Marion's Life was held on Sunday, March 12th 

at Baldwin Hall, Bethel St. Andrew's United Church,

184 Jack Lougheed Way, Fitzroy Harbour, 

from 2-5 p.m.
