Obituary of Margaret Cavanagh

With sadness, the family announces that Margaret Evelyn Cavanagh was released from her pain and graduated to her heavenly home in the early hours of Sunday, March 5, 2023. Margaret was born January 7, 1936.

She worked as a registered nurse until both her children were born. Then she joined husband as a partner on their dairy farm in Kinburn. She milked cows, enjoyed feeding calves and kept the barn and farm clean and orderly.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband John Harold Cavanagh and her parents, Albert and Gladys Marshall and stepfather, Alec Matthews. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Elizabeth Carroll (and her husband Kevin); her son David Cavanagh (and his wife Shirley); her granddaughter, Makayla Cavanagh as well as her sisters-in-law: Charlotte Lesway (late Russell) and Ellen Preece (Peter Barr). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Margaret’s final care has been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior

where a private visitation, service and reception will take place .

Interment Diamond Cemetery, Kinburn.
