Obituary of Colette Belleville

(nee Viau)

With heavy hearts, the Belleville family announce that Colette passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 8, 2023; Colette Eveline Belleville of White Lake was in her 92^nd year.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 74 years Lucien “Lou” on May 27, 2022. Dearly loved and respected “Mom” of Sue MacDonald (Barry) of Ottawa; Louise Belleville of White Lake; Louis Jr. (Laura Kallio) of Perth; Evelyn Maloney (Bob) of Ottawa; Bill (Valerie Ireland) of Stittsville and Kim Brine (Bernie) of Carleton Place. Predeceased by a daughter, Hélène Guilbeault (Stephen of Ottawa). Cherished and proud “Grandma” of 15 and “Great-Grandma” of 28. Dear sister of Phillippe Viau (Linda), Jean-Paul Viau (Laurie), Claude Viau (Cindy), Rhéal Viau and Lionel Viau (Louise). Predeceased by 3 sisters: Fleurette Lévesque (late Lionel), Fernande Poirier (late Ronald) and Jacqueline Watkins (late Red). Daughter of the late Laurian and Thérèse Viau. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. Family was everything to Colette. She and Lou built a beautiful home in White Lake years ago where family and friends were always welcome. Colette spent many hours accompanying her beloved Lou while he entertained young and old alike as he played his accordion. Her life was never the same following his passing last year. Reunited again.

Colette’s final care has been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior

where visitation was held on Friday morning, March 17^th from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

A Service to honour and celebrate Colette followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock (the service was webcast live).

Interment White Lake Cemetery.
