Obituary of Alice Lavigne

(nee Munnings)

With sadness the family announces that Alice passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning, March 15, 2023. She was 92. Beloved wife of the late Gerald. Devoted mother of Claire Scheels (Gordon), Barbara Mooney (Warren), Sandra Stiles, Susan Lavigne and Beverly Lepine. Predeceased by 2 children: Linda Lavigne and Catherine De Grand Pré as well as her siblings: Lawrence Munnings, Doris Couvieau and Isobel Couvieau. Daughter of the late Ernest and Maude. Alice will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Alice’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Monday morning, March 20^th from 9:30 to 10:45. A Funeral Liturgy took place in the Pilon Family Chapel Monday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery.
