Obituary of Tom Knight

With heavy hearts the family announces that Tom passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Wednesday morning, April 26, 2023. He was 66.

Cherished Dad of Jennifer Knight (Corey Gates) and Jillian Schenk (John), both of Calabogie. Treasured Grandpa of Clarke (Emily), Abby and Austin. Dear brother of Linda Knight, Nancy Knight, Dan Knight, Dave Knight and Luke Langevin (Lisa). Son of the late William and Doreen (nee McFarlane). Tom will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Tom adored being outdoors and could always be found enjoying his time with others. He loved to fish with his daughters or brothers, but especially with Abby and Austin. He was often taking swings on the golf course with Jill or at a car show with Jenn. If he wasn’t with family, then he was out there with his buddies. In the summertime Tom was always at the lake, often out in the boat tubing with Abby and Austin, and usually closing out the day with a campfire. His best Puppy friend Riley was always by his side, but for Tom, family was everything. He will be greatly missed.

Tom’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street north, Arnprior. A Celebration of Tom's Life was held in Selkirk, Ontario at 34 Main Street West on Saturday afternoon, June 3 from 1-4. A Celebration of Life in Calabogie, Ontario took place the following weekend at 22 O'Neill Point Road on Sunday afternoon, June 11, from 1-4.
