Obituary of Pat Bambrick

Following a courageous battle with cancer, Pat passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Friday morning, May 26, 2023 at the age of 82.

Pat was born and raised in Ottawa but had settled and fell in love with Arnprior and called it home for many years. 

A cherished volunteer in the community, her spirit will be missed but not forgotten.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Garry Mellan (Saskia), Scott Mellan (Lisa) and Robby Mellan (Joanne); 7 grandchildren and her 2 brothers: Terry Bambrick (Gretchen) and Bob Bambrick.

Predeceased by her brother, Keith. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her best friend of 62 years, Bev Albright and also by her many close friends from the Prior, notably Sue and Joan.

Family and friends who cared for Pat would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Boersma and the staff at the Arnprior Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional kindness and compassion.

Pat’s final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

A short graveside service will be held for family and close friends  on Wednesday afternoon, May 31^st at 2 p.m. at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
