Walt was a wonderful being with a heart of gold and a witty sense of humor. He touched the life's of everyone he met and will be fondly remembered and forever sadly missed.
He was a good husband, provider and an awesome father to our 2 children, James Walter Biggar and Marie Lynn Biggar.
All though our relationship didn't work out and we went our seperate ways we have remained friends over the many years . And he never changed over the years, he always remained the happy go lucky caring good hearted kind soul he had always been ... he told me several years ago, back in 2000 on one of his visits to Texas to see the kids that his plan was when he retired was to travel the country and visit his kids and grandbabies in Texas and out West and his dear friends in Vancouver.
Sadly he never got the opportunity , as once again his generosity and good heart got the best of him.
He truly was one of the " Good guys "
Rest Easy Walt , your sufferings over now and your at peace.

Walter was the BEST bus driver! He drove our three children for most of their years at Stonecrest and the kids loved him. They remember him wearing his jingle bell hat at Christmas and playing “Monster Mash” at Halloween. We always felt confident sending our children off to school in his care… even in very inclement weather. Walter will definitely hold a very special place in our kids’ childhood memories and we are certain that many children at Stonecrest and WCSS feel the same. Our deepest condolences to all of his loved ones.
