Obituary of Tim Kelly

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Timothy James Kelly after a brief illness at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus. Tim left this world for the next surrounded by family and love on June 24, 2023. He was born in Pembroke on December 1,1953 and spent his formative years in Arnprior.

Tim was the beloved father to Megan (Ciarán) and Patrick Kelly and partner to Loretta Paul for 19 years.

Leaving to mourn his sister Tish, brothers Murray, Tom (Yumi) and Danny and sister-in-law Mary Jo as well as his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick Joseph and Constance, sister Mary, brothers Terry and John and sister-in-law Heather.

Tim will also be missed by his brother-in-law and sister-in law in Newfoundland, Percy (Mary) and Mary (Wallace) and the many nieces and nephews of his extended family.

Tim loved his family and was especially fond of children and animals. He loved to travel and had many stories to tell of his worldly adventures, but he was most at peace watching the sunsets at the family cottage at Kelly’s point on Allumette Island.

To honor Tim, donations can be made to an animal charity of your choice or the Canadian Cancer Society.

His arrangements have been taken care of by the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where a drop-in Celebration of life will take place on Friday, June 30^th in the Pilon Family Reception Centre from 1 to 4 pm. Refreshments will be served.
