Obituary of Ronald Laprade

With sadness the family announces that Ron passed away following a brief illness at L’Hôpital de Hull on Sunday morning, June 25, 2023. He was just short of his 90^th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Moreau). Loved Dad of Gary Laprade (Monique) and Sandra Harper (Douglas). Cherished Grandpa of Gaetan Laprade (Mary) and Alexander Harper (Leaha) and Great-Grandpa of Miles, Lyam, Maveryck and Arianna. Dear brother of Bob (Sonia) and Roy (Flo). Son of the late Théophil and Aline (nee Lebel) Laprade. Ron was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen, as well as his sister Joan. Also survived by his special friend Liliane, his nieces, nephews and many friends at L’Initial. Ron enjoyed flying his entire life and shared this passion with his late wife Rita, which they both passed on to their grandson Alexander.

 

Ron’s private arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private interment will be held at Diamond Cemetery, Kinburn.
