Saddened to hear of his passing. It has been many years, but I remember him well from Reid’s pool room. Dennis was a fixture and one of the best players in the room. A force to contend with, but always a congenial player and happy to enjoy a “beverage” after the games.

I am saddened to hear about Dennis’ passing. Dennis lived with my dad and I for probably over ten years and it felt like he was part of the family. Throughout those years, he was always kind, funny, caring, and patient (even as I went through my ‘terrible teen’ phase). Dennis’ happy-go-lucky demeanour was a welcomed presence in the house, usually watching his sports on tv or listening to them on the radio (often at the same time). He had so many great stories to tell of the many adventures he went on throughout his life. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. Dennis, you will be missed by all who had the pleasure of getting to know you over the years.

My good friend and best buddy, Denny Bob, will miss you. You had a heart of gold and never ever sad a bad word about anyone and where the voice of reason many times. You were the most unmaterialisitic person I knew, you would go with the flow and were happy no matter what, nothing really bugged you outside of your beloved Bruins if they lost, but the hurt would not last long with you .Will never forget our yearly trips up to Mattawa for their annulal festival, next one will be very different without you there. You could swim like no tomorrow and we called you the 'dolphin' for this when you swam in Farm Lake for a few hours none stop in the dark none the less. I knew you for many years as did my family, my kids would always show up at the house if they knew you were coming for a visit. You would bug them and they would bug you back along with their husbands when you talked sports with them all in good fun. I have nothing but good memories of our times together and the many miles we put on touring including Florida a few years back. I will miss our many, many weekly chats which always turned into sports and proline. You earned your wings, fly high my friend. You are loved an missed by myself and my family along with many others.

Dennis moved in with me and the other roommates in November 2021, and changed my life for the better in just a few days.... I've never met a more likeable, allways happy and a guy who knew more about any sport than anyone...a diehard Boston bruins fan but an avid follower of any sport....heck of good cook on top of his many great qualities....I know I'll never forget his allways happy outlook on life that sometimes wasn't the best....I miss him and I send my deepest condolences to his entire family, especially Brenda who i deeply respect and appreciate for the care she took of him....God bless you Dennis my friend, I miss you buddy...Ted

I am sorry to hear of Denner's passing. We were good friends growing up - going to school, playing hockey and softball together. The odd time I would run into him on my visits back to the Prior, and we would end up having a few sodas at the Legion catching up. Dennis always had the best stories to tell, leaving you laughing in tears. At times, I found myself laughing at his laugh! After the stories, the serious conversation would begin about his Boston Bruins. Dennis was such a good man. You had to know Dennis in order to understand him. He was a very kind hearted person who would do anything for his family and friends - you didn't want to cross him. I will miss you buddy and I hope you are at peace. To the McCormick family, I send my condolences and prayers on the loss of your son, brother and uncle.
