Keith lived his life with a glass half full, with great curiosity, eagerness and exuberance. He made friends
every place he lived and worked. He was always generous toward others and their accomplishments.
He was content to forge his own unique path and never thought his path was better or more significant of those
of his friends. We will miss his laugh, his inquisitive 'aha', and more simply put 'we will miss him, miss him a lot'.
It has been a privilege for us to be his friend and him ours.

Betty and I and the Men's Shed Guys are saddened by loosing our good Friend and Colleague Kieth. We will miss his friendly smile, his bursts of laughter, and his enthusiastic spirit. What a carpenter, design artist, and his quick "fixes" with respect to designing and building templates will always be remembered. Always good Friends and "Shredders" forever Keith.
Most respectfully,
Darrel & Betty O'Shaughnessy
& The Arnprior & McNab/Braeside Men's Shed

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Keith’s death. Last year we enjoyed a
lovely visit and meal with Cheryl and Keith and he seemed happy and healthy.
It was 65 years ago I first met Keith when I dated his sister Bev. I remember the
night I proposed to her. I had purchased a ring and it was in my jacket pocket.
When I gave the jacket to Keith the bag with the ring in it fell out but fortunately
the ring didn’t fall out. I proposed that night and we married in 1960.
As I followed Keith’s life and and career, hockey was what he
excelled at. He went to college in Potstam NY. After graduating he started his work
career at the Sportsplex in Napean.
I had the pleasure of marrying Keith and Marlene in Sarnia. They raised two fine
sons, John and James. It wasn’t long until they married Jen and Meg. They have
raised four children and grandchildren for Keith and Marlene. To know Keith was to
love and respect his generous and kind spirit. Bev and I had many long talks with
Keith about life, death and heaven when he was ill and facing life’s challenges.
I trust these talks helped Keith as he neared the end of his life’s journey. I want to
express my appreciation for the touching eulogy he gave at my wife Bev’s funeral
five years ago. It is my prayer that the Lord will comfort Keith’s fine family at this
time of sorrow and loss . Stu & Jeanette

We were sad to hear that Keith passed away. We send our deepest sympathies to John, James, Cheryl, and their families. Keith was generous with his time. He volunteered with the Special Olympics, Men’s Shed and more. He also liked to help his friends and family and we were grateful for his handy man skills on many occasions. Last summer Keith helped us assemble our dock and put it in the water. We enjoyed spending time with Keith at family gatherings and outings. Sometimes we would just have a visit and chat about what was new in our lives or in the world. We will miss Keith but feel fortunate to have known him and to have so many memories of him.
