Obituary of Michel Richer

Following a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis, Michel passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 20, 2023 at the age of 74.  Michel is survived by his cherished wife of 52 years, Margaret (nee Eisenhauer); his sister Denise Kirkpatrick (Bud); his brothers Jacques (Louise), Georges (late Louise), Yvon (Colleen); sisters-in-law Doreen Racine and Patricia Eisenhauer. 

Michel was predeceased by his parents Albert and Anita Richer; sisters Gisele Simard and Jeannine Legault; brothers Emile and Rheal.  

Margaret would like to express her deepest gratitude to Doctors Kurian and Becker as well as the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Arnprior Hospital for their exceptional care of Michel during his illness. 

Michel’s final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street. North, Arnprior. 

A private graveside service will be held at a later date, at Notre Dame Cemetery in Ottawa.
