Obituary of Ingrid Risk

With sadness, the family announces that Ingrid passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital early Friday morning, August 4, 2023. She was 68 years of age.

Beloved wife for over 48 years of Barry. Dearly loved and devoted mother of Derek (Sarah), Trevor and Brittany. Cherished and proud grandmother of Johnathan and Jacob. Dear sister of Yvonne Devitt (Jim), Ron Demmers (Cathy) and Andreas Demmers. Special daughter-in-law of John Risk (late Ruth) and sister-in-law of Keith and Vivian Findley and aunt of Adam and Alyssa. Also survived by good neighbors and friends.

Daughter of the late Henk and Gerda (nee Nyman) Demmers. 

Final arrangements for Ingrid have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, August 16^th from 10:30 to 12 noon.

A reception will follow.

Interment Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior.

The family wish to express heartfelt thanks to Drs. Morrison, Fannon, Hugh Richard and Goldstein as well as the dedicated staff and nurses at the Arnprior Hospital for the excellent care provided to Ingrid.

Special mention and thanks to Nurse Jamie Kauffeldt for the kindness shown to Ingrid.
