Dear Anne and Lisa,
Our condolences, Cindy and I are saddened to hear about Dave's passing.
Dave is remembered as such a thoughtful and kind man and how meticulous he was with his lawn plus his battles with Brodie when he wandered over for a visit.
Losing a loved one is hard and no words will ease the pain but you have family, all part of Dave's legacy.

Hello Anne and family,
It was just yesterday that Lily(Golden Retriever) and I took our walk by your house hoping to say Hello to Dave, sitting peacefully on your front porch. He always liked saying Hi to Lily and she was always excited to see him, ever since she was a puppy.
We will miss saying Hi to him, and I know Lily will keep stopping at your house hoping to see Dave, knowing he was a special
Friend to her.
You are in my thoughts, and I am sure Lily’s as well.

We have lost an remarkable individual that was loving, caring, honest, who had an incredible sense of humour and respectful to all in David but his legacy of memories we all have of him and his values live on in Anne, Lisa and Liam. David it was truly an honour to have you as a brother-in-law you were always one with kind words for others, an insightful comment, a chuckle, a tease, to watch your heartfelt tears of joy you shed when Lisa got married to Derek or the sparkle in your eyes to see and spent time with your grandson Liam David, a chat about current events in the news or about family or just sit in silence with you and watch the world go by was always a pleasure. You fought a valiant fight against this cruel ALS disease as long as you could to your last breathe surrounded by family. We will miss you Love Always and Forever Nina and Jim Raycroft
Anne, Lisa, Derek and Liam,
We only got to know Dave for a few brief years. Each visit left us feeling welcomed through his friendly, gentle, and thoughtful demeanour. What a privilege and honour it was to have Dave as part of our family when Lisa and Derek were joined in marriage. His love and pride for his daughter Lisa is a priceless, everlasting treasure.
If there were more people like Dave, what a wonderful world this would be. He was one of a kind and his legacy is eternal.
