Obituary of Barry Shrimpton

With sadness the family announces that Barry passed away peacefully at the Granite Ridge Care Community on Friday evening, September 15, 2023. He was 81.

Cherished husband and best friend of the late Marion Shrimpton (nee Showers) March 2, 2023 of Arnprior. Loved father of Kevin Shrimpton of Smiths Falls, Kellie Shrimpton (Phil Gagnon) of Fitzroy Harbour and Steve Shrimpton (Anne Pritchard) also of Smiths Falls. Treasured Grandpa of Christopher Shrimpton, Cassy Shrimpton, Thomas Gagnon, Jacob Gagnon and Mathieu Gagnon. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Barry’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

A Celebration of Barry’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 1^st at the Arnprior Legion Branch 174, 49 Daniel Street North from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
