Dear Eleanor and family ... We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of this wonderful man ... a caring husband and father and grandfather ... He has also been the very best neighbour for over 50 years. We will miss chatting with him, hearing his stories and laughing with him.. So so sorry Eleanor and family. A long time ago Kenny took me with him on his trip. We left Almonte in his red Western Star tractor and bulk trailer for flour. We unloaded at Morrison Lamothe in Ottawa. We made two trips that day. So fun.
Well I drive for Cavanagh Construction now, and one day I took Kenny with me for a few trips. I had a Peterbilt tractor and a hopper trailer and he met many old friends and had a great ride. Kenny's tractor was called "Beastie".

We are so saddened to hear of the loss of Ken, dad and Mary gained another dear friend to have a chat with. We could have never of had a finer neighbor. I recall some great hunting stories under Ken’s carport on Wylie street. Deepest sympathy to Eleanor, Connie, Terry, Lynn and families. Thoughts and Prayers the Davey family.
Sincere Condolences to all the Forrest connection. Ken was a Glasgow Station icon. The kind of individual that everyone respected, enjoyed sharing stories with and telling the odd tall tale as and when required.

Ken will be missed. Loved chatting with him whenever our paths crossed. Still remember Ken telling me to secret trick when backing up a trailer. Works everytime. Rest in peace. Condolences to all the Forrest and Box families.
So very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. He was a very good friend to mom and dad (Alan and Marlene Pretty). They shared and spent a lot of good times together, dances, travelling and just visiting with each other. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our sincere condolences to Eleanor, Connie, Terry, Lynn and families.
Ken was such a wonderful friend to Mom and Dad and they enjoyed every minute they spent together with he and Eleanor. Hope they are all laughing and dancing in Heaven.
