Obituary of Ruth Willms

(nee Hansford)

With heavy hearts the family announces that Ruth passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 2, 2023. She was 83.

Beloved wife of the late David Willms. Treasured mother of Becky Kohlman (Dan) of Fitzroy Harbour and Mark Dokis of Sarnia. Cherished Grandma Ruth of William and Alex Kohlman. Ruth was predeceased by her brother Eddie. Daughter of the late Edward and Elsie May (nee Carder) Hansford. Ruth will be fondly remembered by her best friend Debbie Hudson as well as her fellow residents at Baskin Place.

Ruth’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will take place on Thursday evening, October 5^th from 6-8. A private family burial will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Ruth’s hometown of Leamington, Ontario.
