Obituary of Allen Craig

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Allen passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital while surrounded by loved ones on Thursday morning, October 5, 2023; Allen Richard Craig of White Lake was 83.

Beloved husband for almost 57 years of Margaret (nee Stewart). Much loved and devoted Dad of Tim, Terry (Wendy), Elizabeth “Betty” L’Heureux (late Claude), Georgina Colombe (Gary), Kimberley Tolley (Gord) and Tracy Kausch (Dave). Cherished and proud Poppa and Pops of 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Dear brother of late Faye Morrow (late Gerald), Marilyn Reid (late Bud), Bev Guay (late Larry), Donna Coe (late Charlie), late Gail Craig, late Robert Craig Jr., late Noreen Craig, Howard Craig (Gudrun), late George Craig, Arnold Craig (Margaret), Bill Craig and Susan Barr (Bruce).

Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Allen during an informal drop-in to take place at the Almonte Legion on Sunday, October 15^th from 2 to 5 p.m.

Private family interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.
