Hmm.. this is some tough stuff. I'm Luke Stevenson and I'd like to start by sending my deepest and sincerest commiserations to the entire Craig family and to all of those who knew this legendary man. Whenever I reflect upon the past and growing up on Rockcliffe farm I find it incredible how there are seemingly countless memories of Bob. A man whom my father, Jim, looked up to with profound admiration and respect. Jim's always been an excellent judge of character so going off his word alone has always been enough for me to think very highly of Bobby. If you've already read the comment my elder brother, Andrew, wrote then you're likely aware of Bob's nickname Plum-Bob/Plum. I thought the world of the bond held between the two -Bobs, Jim-Bob and Plum-Bob. Hearing the name brings forth a vast trove of memories that seem go as far back as I can remember. In the Kinburn/West Carleton community, Plum was highly regarded as the GOAT [Greatest of All Time] among all Combine Harvester operators. **Sorry, Clint! ;)** I still remember the first time he let me steer the Combine as he was harvesting one of our fields. At the forefront of the funniest moments would have to be attending church at the corner of Kinburn Side Road and Diamondview Road on a Sunday morning and all of a sudden hearing snoring out of nowhere followed by Plum receiving an elbow nudge from his wife, Donna, as she whispered "Ohhh, Bob, would you wake up!!" Donna's a sweetheart. Plum-Bob also owned the slickest sports cars which only made him that much cooler of a guy in the eyes of a young child. But what truly made him such a memorable character in our lives was his kindness and compassion. The guy had a heart of pure gold which Bob himself made clear not only through his actions and words but primarily with his smile. It is very difficult to remember a smileless Bob. May his genuinely awesome soul rest in peace as he watches over all of his loved ones.

Back in the day I remember plumbob (nickname as some of you might know) and my dad and I were splitting wood out in the back bush cold as a winter can be and Bob “plumbob” was warm as could be.. never knew how he stayed warm so well? Always bothered my mind but he always was warm swinging that axe! His happy place as he told us .. I did NOT agree haha
He told a great stories.. many stories. one that always stuck in my head. He told me about this long lost native that lived around Kinburn side Road just before you hit the town of kinburn.. he said to me and dad that lots of people are looking for a native man named falling-rock and they even put a sign out so when you see him you know which area he is lost … “Watch out for falling rock” he said.. that was his name .. bob said, just keep looking out that window Andrew and you just might spot him.. Meanwhile my dad is laughing and clearly it was a joke but when you’re young you definitely look out that window :D
Plumbob was a great man ! Always smiling and a great heart! Going to be missed <3
Sincerely
Andrew Stevenson

Dear Donna and Family, We were so saddened to hear of our dear friend Bob's passing. We cherish
all the fun times together over the years and in Florida too ! David and Bob enjoyed a special bond
from their teenage years. They always talked on their birthdays and many times celebrated together
with family and friends. David always joked with Bob that he had to listen to him as he was older (by 2 days !).
Bob was always so welcoming with his big smile and always so willing to help if needed. He will be truly missed !
Sending our Love and Sincere Sympathy to all ! David and Marion Baird

Donna and family,
Bob will never be forgotten as he always gave and shared his knowledge of farming with his family as well as all who knew him. He had a tremendous love of life as well. I have so many fond memories of him during my younger years and older. Every Sunday we would visit with Uncle Harvey and Aunt Ruby and we children would have so fun together.
Bob, rest in peace.
