Obituary of George Smith

With heavy hearts the family announces that George passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital while surrounded by loved ones late Thursday, October 19, 2023.

George Smith was 79 years of age.

Beloved husband of Beverley (nee Childs). Much loved and proud Dad of Peggy Smith (late David Antochi), Irene Deeks and James "Jim" Smith.

Cherished and devoted Grandpa of James Smith (Jess Noland), John Deeks (Jessica), Katie Barr (Justin), William Deeks (Bri) and Dillon Smith and Great-Grandpa of Aidan, Aaron, Declan, Hunter, Lilith and Mason.

Dear brother of Jack (Fran) and uncle of Julie and Lewis Smith. Fondly remembered by the Childs family.

 

A casual drop-in for family and friends will take place at the Masonic Hall, 31 James Street, Arnprior on Sunday afternoon, November 5^th from 1 to 5 p.m.
