Graham attended elementary school in Kinburn; high school in West Carleton and his final year at Frederick Banting. Following that, Graham worked at several places including Edgewood Golf Course, Wendy’s, Corel Center and the Ottawa-Carleton School Board. Graham loved life. He especially loved golfing with his friends, cousins and uncles. He played in many tournaments including the Sun Scramble. He also golfed in Alberta and Newfoundland while on holidays. Graham loved time spent at Gramma’s; watching Jeopardy with Walter; Sunday football with his Dad; attending community events with his Mom and going to Ottawa Sens and 67’s games. Graham was very kindhearted and had a generous spirit. He volunteered with many agencies: CHEO telethon from age 9; Brian Smith Foundation; Boys and Girls Club; CNIB and Ottawa Senators Foundation. Graham often gave clothes, water and food to those living on the street. He enjoyed senior citizens and they enjoyed him. He talked to everyone he met and always had a good chat with his neighbors. His lively spirit will be missed by his family and friends.
Graham’s care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
A Celebration of his Life will take place at the Kinburn Community Centre, 3045 Kinburn Side Road on Saturday afternoon, June 1st from 2-5.
In his memory, please consider a donation to the Arnprior District Humane Society. You may also consider planting snapdragons in your flower beds or gardens next Spring as these were Graham’s favorite flower.
