Obituary of Barbara Mitchell

With heavy hearts, the family informs you that following a rather brief illness, Barbara passed away at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice in Kanata while surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was 77 years of age. Beloved wife of the late David Mitchell. Much loved mother of Kim Mitchell (Doug Stevens) of Arnprior and John Mitchell (Sue) of Orléans. Cherished Nana of Kirstian (Martin), Candice, Tyler, Jamie (Jen), Mitchell, Sarah, Charles and Chelsea and Great-Nana of Ella, Jackson, Cora, Evey, Aiden, Thane and Xavier. Dear sister of Don Boyer, Pat Taylor (George) and William Boyer. Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Marie-Jeanne (nee Larabie) Boyer as well as 1 brother, Larry Boyer and 4 sisters: Violet, Jeanne, Elaine and Shirley. Sadly missed and always loved by other family members and friends.

Barb was a longtime school bus driver with Premiere Bus Lines. Her patience, kindness and generosity toward others will be missed. Gone but never forgotten.
