Dear Evelyn, over the years, Jean and I have so enjoyed spending time with your Grandparents at family events. It was rather heart melting to sit with your Grandfather today, to chat with him and to hear him recite the words to a lovely poem that he had memorized 30 years ago. The message that he wanted to convey was about the ongoing strength of loving relationships and that nothing can split them apart. I worked with Marilyn at St Mary's school Carleton Place. She was the backbone of our school. Even the principals knew that it was Marilyn who really ran the school. Marilyn knew every student's name, their parents and grandparent's names, and their phone number. She knew if a student went on the bus or if grandma was going to pick them up for music lessons. She was our Google long before it was invented. I was honoured to be her coworker and friend. God bless you Marilyn, now you can organize St. Peter in heaven.
