I never thought I would be here doing this. I had the gift of meeting Tasha in Grade 9 Keyboarding class. We became quick friends. She was my ride or die bestie all through high school and well into our 20’s and we would always check in with one another. Time was never a factor. So many memories to choose from. From running screaming to get to her pool trying to avoid the snakes on the lawn, to summer nights on Homan Rd on the patio chairs, convinced the elderly neighbours were spying on us as we star gazed and solved all our life’s problems….to the Sarah McLachlan and Steve Miller Band stained glass nights. The crucial mad dashes to the bull barn to get sour apple rings. The trips to my cottage holding wedge fries out the window to cool and her glove box full of ketchup packets! Everything is better with ketchup! Our summer trip to Nova Scotia, the storm drain, ;)…. Tasha was one of the best women I’ve ever known. She had a heart of gold. She loved deeply and unconditionally. She will be missed dearly by all who were fortunate to have been in her presence. She was such a beautiful person. So authentically herself. I’ll miss you dear friend!!
