Denise and I send our condolences to Eileen's Family. I trained and worked at the Pembroke Civic Hospital from 1969 to 1973 with Eileen and she was the reason that I did so well in my studies. She had a great way of teaching and was a great friend. Later on when I returned to Pembroke were reunited at the Pembroke General Hospital. We ended up just two blocks from each other near the hospital. Again our sympathy to the family. Bob & Denise Holmes

Kathy and I send our sincere sympathy to you and yours We wish you comfort and solace always. One memory I have is at the time Aunt Eileen married Frank. I was a lot younger than now. It was at the reception. I could see my Aunt and Uncle at the head table. They weren't too far away. There were no "kids meals". I sat down to a huge (adult) plate of chicken, potatoes, vegetables,... I was taught to eat my vegetables first, of course. I really wanted that chicken so I was trying to slog down the veggies. I didn't think that I could do it. I looked towards Uncle Frank and Aunt Eileen who noticed me. I could see Uncle Frank talking to Aunt Eileen, who then turned to me and advised me that I didn't have to eat all those vegetables, that it would be okay to get at the chicken! Heaven on Earth ;-) Aunt Eileen was always a pleasure to visit with. May she rest in peace xo
