Obituary of Bettie MacFarlane

Peacefully, on the morning of Sunday March 24th, 2024, Elizabeth Agnes “Bettie”

MacFarlane, formerly of MacLaren’s Landing passed away at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Scott Allan MacFarlane. Dearly loved mother of Ashlie MacFarlane (David Sousa) and Les MacFarlane (Shannon). Dear sister of Ruth Bell (late Scott Andrew) and Bill Cox (Wava). Proud grandmother of Duncan and Hannah. Fondly remembered by her niece and nephews, as well as many wonderful friends.

Bettie was a deeply creative woman who expressed herself through painting, gardening and home decorating. She was known for speaking her mind, remarkable sense of humour and her memorable gatherings with friends and family.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

 A Service to honour and remember Bettie will be held in the

Pilon Family Chapel at 12:30. Reception to follow.

Interment St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour.
