Obituary of Doris Lynch

Doris left this world for a better place where she knew there is love and peace and will be welcomed by her Lord and Savior.

She leaves sincere thanks and love to her dear family and friends for making her life a special journey.

Cherishing Doris’ memory are her sons, Daniel T. (Monique), and Larry J. (Carol); grandchildren, Kelly Lynch (Jimmy) from Edmonton, Cynthia Whitelock (Craig) from Pakenham, Ontario, Lee Dube (Gordon) from Ardrossan, and Jason Lynch from Arnprior, Ontario; great-grandchildren, Devon, Jake, Griffin, Hudson, Adara, and Delaney; her dear sister, Marjorie Rose.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Tommy; sister, Joan Lawson; and Brother, Harry Brown.

Following retirement from Alberta Agriculture, she began volunteering at Seniors Association of Greater Edmonton and continued for some 30 plus years. Doris was always an active member in the community as well as church affairs that included:
Past President of the Alberta Women’s Institute, Edmonton Branch.
The Assumption branch of the Catholic Women’s League.
The Woman’s Inter Church Council, Edmonton.
Organized and managed the Alberta Government Bowling League for several years.
A life member of S.A.G.E, South East Edmonton Seniors and The Good Samaritan Society.

Sincere thanks to Doctor Samycia and staff for their continued care over the many years. Also, a heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, nurses, and staff of Ward 32 of the Royal Alexandra Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion the gave our mom.
