My heart goes out to Gert’s family as I know she will be dearly missed by everyone in her life. I remember Gert as a dedicated mother to her family. Family was her life purpose. She was genuinely a very good person. She was the kind of person who did not expect anything in return from her generosity. She loved unconditionally, which is a rare quality. Life is crazy sometimes and I wish I had had more time to get to know my beautiful big sister but it’s too late now and that deeply saddens me. She will live in my heart forever. Aline Lance
