Obituary of Kevin Blank

Suddenly but peacefully at home on Sunday morning, June 9, 2024, Kevin passed away at the age of 72.

Loved Dad of Shawn Blank (Sarah) and Brian Blank (Lindsay). Proud and cherished Grandpa of Brayden, Taylor, Hayden and Archer. Dear brother of Ken Blank (Bernise Andersen), Keith Blank (Olly Scott), Shirley Blank (John Hutchinson), Leonard Blank (Alberta), Doreen Ward (Allan), Richard Blank (Diane), Lloyd Blank and Joanne Heins. Son of the late Joseph and Anna (nee Tomchick) Blank. Kevin will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Kevin was born on November 26, 1951 in Pembroke, Ontario. After attending school in Eganville he had a long and tireless career as a bus mechanic at Voyageur Bus Lines and later OC Transpo, he happily retired in 2016. He was also the proud owner of his own auto repair shop and Kevin’s Snow Removal for many years. Kevin retired to a quiet life in Arnprior where he enjoyed spending his time relaxing, gardening, BBQing, fishing, and solving puzzles.

Kevin’s care and arrangements were entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation took place on Tuesday, June 25th from 11-12:15. A Service was held in the Pilon Family Chapel at 12:30. Reception followed. Inurnment Albert Street Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s memory to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
