To the Ryan family, Joe was one in a million. He was a country boy by birth and a working man and athelete well into his senior years. Joe was a sedate man who always had the correct comment to reply to an irrelevant comment. Joe introduced us in our younger years on a date which has lasted sixty years. Sadly, we planned on having Joe at our sixtieth anniversary next month. However, Joe is now with the angels and his beloved wife, Sharon. May God bless them both.
Sincerely,
Ron and Joan Houlahan

So sorry to hear about Joe’s passing, I had the pleasure of playing hockey with Joe on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Arnprior for the past few seasons. Joe was a very nice man, a kind a gentle soul. On the ice he always played his position and took great pride when he put the puck in the net. We would talk about it after the game and Joe was always humble and say " in the right place at the right time" and then put a big smile on his face and we would have a good chuckle over it. One of the nicest people I had the pleasure to meet. To Joe's family and friends I send my sincerest condolences to all at this very difficult time.

We were totally shocked to learn of Joe's passing on July 13, 2024. Our world will not be the same without him. We have known Joe for more than eighty years. He was born a farmer, became a natural athlete and then a loving family man. In all of this he was an exemplary Christian man.
To Natalie and Mary Jane and families, we send our condolences on your loss.
And to Rosemary, Frances, Ann, Doreen and Alphonse, be assured of our prayers for yourselves and Joe.
