Owen got to know Murray when bow-hunting at the Fassbender property off Upper Dwyer Hill. He often came to visit him at Nashes (the farm) where he chatted, mostly about hunting. Owen often called him Mr. Fix-it, his little air gun was like new after Murray's work and is still functional. Murray was a great friend and will be sadly missed but never forgotten. He was a mild man with many talents and we are better people to have known him. Rest in peace, dear friend. Our sincere sympathy to Barbara, also a very special person, and to their children.

I'm so very sorry for your loss my condolences to the family. Murray was a great man. He was so friendly and kind. He took me on many camping trips with his family. I enjoyed rides in his penguin with the rest of the kids in the neighborhood. I had many sleep overs at their house and I have to say they were a very loving and caring family. I always enjoyed bumping into Barb and Murray at garage sales. We had lots of laughs over the years. Such a great man he will be missed. ❤️
