With great sadness, the family announces that Gerry passed away unexpectedly at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus on Monday, August 19, 2024; Gerard “Gerry” Ste Marie of Arnprior was only 69 years young.

Beloved husband for over 45 years of Kathleen “Kathy” (nee Herrick). Much loved and proud Dad of Katie (Keith Waucaush) and Kristy (Sean Guistini).

Dear brother of Jerome Ste Marie (Sandie) and Diane Ste Marie (Ron Solmon).

Special brother-in-law of Mike Herrick (Lucy), Estelle Grenier (late Ron), Phyllis Flegal (Doug), Suzanne Herrick-Lee (late Pat)and Donna Herrick (late Leonard).

Gerry was born in Hull, Quebec amongst his five siblings and lived in Arnprior with Kathy and the girls for the past 42 years.

Gerry was a devoted family member, husband, dad, fun uncle, coach, grandpa, and ‘grandpaw’.
