Obituary of Barb Still

With heavy hearts, the Still family announces that Barb passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by love, prayers and Elvis music playing in the background on Sunday morning, September 15, 2024.

Barbara Ann Still of Arnprior was 79 years young.

Beloved wife for almost 60 years of Lorne. Dearly love Mom of Laura York (Brian) and Paula Lenzo (Diego).

Cherished Nanny of 5 grandchildren: Jamie, Joshua, Amanda, Michelle and Nickolas as well as 4 great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Rinissa, Ainzley and Dominic.

Dear sister of Cecil Watson (Paulette), Ruth Leamy (late Bill), Millie Schlievert (late Jim) and Joan Ford (late Gordon).

Lovingly remembered by the Still family.

Daughter of the late Caswell and Freda (nee Scully) Watson.

Barb was born in Arnprior on July 5, 1945. She spent her entire life in this community that she was proud to call home.

She and Lorne married in 1965 and became the proud parents of 2 beautiful daughters. Barb could always be found helping someone in need.

She was a tiny person with a huge heart. Her love of people, animals and most of all Elvis Presley could be clearly seen in the way she lived her life.

Barb lived her faith to the fullest day in and day out. She enjoyed the company of family, neighbors and friends and was always willing to offer a big hug to those she loved dearly.

Her memory will live on in the many who had the pleasure to call Barb, “Friend”.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to the
