Obituary of Marion Devlin
(nee Mulvihill)
With sadness the family announces that Marion passed away at the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 23, 2024. She was 89.
Beloved wife of the late Jerome Devlin.
Loved and cherished Mom of Susan Devlin (Liliane) of Ottawa and Peter Devlin (Christine) of Ashton.
Treasured Grandma of Tyler and Rachel (Trevor Nyenkamp).
Daughter of the late Gladwyn and Irene (nee Hogan) Mulvihill and dear sister of Janet Franklin (late Jimmy), Pat Mulvihill (Claire) and Leo Mulvihill (Lynn).
Special sister-in-law to Bill and Betty Devlin.
Marion will be missed by her nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her treasured friends Peggy and Joe Palsson. Peggy and Joe were some of Jerome and Marions first friends when moving to Corkery area and the ones who got them into showing cattle with a special love for the Hereford breed. Countless hours were spent with many dear friends around the show ring. Likewise, many years and summers were spent at the cottage at Rueckwald lake with many great friends (Deavys, Daggs, Dodds, and Kenyons).

Marion’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the
Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior
where visitation will be held on
Tuesday, October 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 only.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Michael’s Parish, Corkery on Wednesday Morning, October 2nd at 11 o’clock.
Interment St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Corkery.
Reception to follow at the Carp Agricultural Hall, 3790 Carp Road, Carp.
