Obituary of Michael Louks

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Michael passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, with family by his side, on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was 71.  

Michael was the cherished husband of Eileen Shea and loving parent to her son Sean Carr (Paula). Loved father of Luke Louks (Sapphire) and grandfather of Nina-Alexis and Aaliyah. Dear brother of David Louks (Deborah). Predeceased by his brother Peter, as well as his parents: Floyd and Marguerite (nee Chaput) Louks. Michael will also be missed by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff in the Intensive Care Unit of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for his care.  

His arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Friday morning, October 11th from 9-10:30am. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. John Chrysostom Church in Arnprior on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Reception to follow in the Pilon Family Reception Centre.
